It is that time of year that is busy for most, and getting in the studio to paint or sculpt is a challenge. I think those that consider themselves artists’, are always creating in one way or another…it is just in our blood. 😉
I purchased a wreath from the local 8th grade class as a fundraiser and it is placed neatly on our gate to the front yard. It is nice…very nice, but doesn’t tell a story. Since I live on the edge of a forest, on an island, by the Salish Sea (Puget Sound), what better way to feed my need to create while using the abundance of fragrant greenery outside my door. Holly and berries, also from my yard, adorn it with a yearly re-used ribbon of red ( my favorite color) and now greets visitors at the front door.
